With a vision to empower and encourage more young people to get involved in the political process, Christina Tobin’s pursues a 2018 and 2020 nationwide tour to colleges and universities, hosting symposiums and musical showcases, advocating for freedom, liberty, justice and peace, through the application of fair elections and voting outside the two party system.
Free and Equal leads the way in bridging the divide for millennials to start representing their values among a nation of older pro-establishment voters. Online music, media, activism, journalism and social media, empower voters to connect and encourage peers in our communities to vote alternative this election. Vote however you want, follow your consciousness.
Building momentum towards a 2020 presidential election of an alternative candidate is far more viable when young people and music are involved. By including journalists, activists and musicians, the Free and Equal tour will fulfil Dr. Ron Paul’s vision for revolutionary changes.
“If you ever can bring about revolutionary changes,
two things would be required:
young people would have to be involved
and you would need music.”
The future of Free and Equal will specifically be targeting the Congressional races. Their United We Stand Fest will kick off with Open Presidential Debates Tours featuring truth musicians, activist leaders, and voices from independent media. The goal is to expand for 2020 to have a nationwide tour for all major universities across the nation. It’s all about shifting the political power back to the people, engaging the youth, and helping us unite and steer away from corporate power over politics and the political elite.
Free and Equal has hosted a number of forums and participated in promoting activism with numerous groups over the years. Most notable and relevant to this election were her major presidential debates between alternative party candidates.
The 2008 Free and Equal debate was between Ralph Nader of the Green Party and Chuck Baldwin of the Libertarian Party.
In 2012, Free and Equal hosted a debate between four candidates with Larry King. The debate included Jill Stein with the Green Party, Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party, Virgil Goode of the Constitution Party and Rocky Anderson of the Justice Party.
Christina’s team is working on preparing ahead for a massive 2018 congressional campaign, to launch the election assistant app, and to build momentum so that by 2020 the organization can host forums at dozens of major universities around the nation to shift the vote for more alternative candidate nominations, such as those for Quorum E-Democracy candidates working with RIPAC.
